Father’s return to China to visit relatives is a farewell: a 28-year-old Chinese woman was murdered by her ex-boyfriend in the United States

On February 8, a murder occurred in Pennsylvania, USA, that shocked the Chinese community.

Lu Yuanyuan, a 28-year-old Chinese girl, was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend Ren Yujun in a car. Just hours before the incident, she had just walked into the police station to call the police for help.

The police reported that 32-year-old Ren Yujun voluntarily surrendered to the police accompanied by his lawyer at around 12:30 noon that day. Currently, he has been formally arrested and arraigned. The local prosecutor’s office announced that it willCriminal Homicide, Possession of Criminal Instruments, and StalkingCharges were brought against him and the court has ruledDeny bail。

The police revealed that after receiving Ren Yujun’s surrender, they followed his guidance to a local residence and found a woman sitting in the driver’s seat of a car with a gunshot wound to the head and no signs of life.

It was confirmed that the deceased was Lu Yuanyuan.

The monitoring screen shows,Hours before the incident, the suspect had begun stalking the victim. Court documents show that around 5:45 a.m. on February 8, surveillance cameras captured Lu Yuanyuan driving by, followed by Ren Yujun’s vehicle. Hours later, she was shot to death in her car.

Ren Yujun confessed to the police that at the time of the incident, he stood outside Lu Yuanyuan’s car door and claimed that the other party “said hurtful words and took away their cats and dogs”, so he took out a gun from his waist “to scare her”, but the gun “fired”.

What is even more embarrassing is that Lu Yuanyuan’s behavior before she was killedJust called the police the night before。

On the evening of February 7, she went to the police station for help, saying that she was very afraid of Ren Yujun. She told the police that the other party had been carrying guns for a long time and continued to stalk and harass her.

She also revealed that she had been sexually assaulted that day and decided to end the relationship. On the day she called the police, she had already packed her luggage, prepared to leave completely, and blocked all contact information of Ren Yujun.

However, she ultimately failed to wait for a new beginning.

Lu Yuanyuan’s cousin said in an interview that the two had been dating for about a year. Just a week before the incident, Lu Yuanyuan confided in her family that she had been abused for a long time in this relationship. It was with the persuasion of her family that she had the courage to call the police and decide to break up.

Lu Yuanyuan came to live in the United States with her father in 2009. Not long ago, her father returned to China to visit relatives, leaving her alone in the United States.

Neighbors recalled that the girl always greeted everyone warmly: “Good morning, your children are so beautiful, I wish you a good day.”

They saw her as cheerful, friendly and energetic.
