The gunman’s motive for committing the crime at the age of 23 is unknown

It is reported that the gunman committed suicide after committing an attack. Police said it carried a variety of weapons, including rifles and pistols.
CNN noted that O’Hara said Westman had published a “manifesto” on the video platform, which “contained some disturbing words.” The police are investigating his motive for the crime.

Trump orders half flags to be lowered

The White House said on social media that on the afternoon of the 27th, Trump signed a notice stating that in order to show respect to victims of violence, he ordered the White House and all federal public buildings to lower the flag until sunset on the 31st.
